A-11 redesign step-by-step

First up, the original picture

The first step was identifying the key design features (3-surface layout, FSW, tandem stepped cockpit) and sketching possible side-views
Experimented with inlet and empennage layouts, before producing 2 final designs
Selected the second design, and used it as the basis for a digital painting

A 4th generation tactical/strategic strike bomber, incorporating 3-surface configuration and forward-swept wing technology; optimised for low-level terrain-following flight at mach 0.9
