FV-7 Viper Landing
An FV-7 Viper V/STOL Naval Fighter lands on board an Intrepid-class Light Carrier after a routine combat air patrol. A three-poster design powered by a Rolls-Royce tandem-fan engine with afterburning, the Viper offers comparable top speed and payload to CATOBAR fighters, albeit with reduced range. In addition, the three-surface control layout, allied to VIFF capability mean that it possesses almost unparallelled manoeuvrability in a dogfight.
(It's good to get some digital painting practice after the time spent concentrating on finishing Tundra Rats)
